Nantucket Boats

Text Box: These boats were moored outside our cottage on Old North Wharf in the early Summer of 1975. Each one of them seemed ancient. They made me feel like we had gone back in time to the 20ís or 30ís. While I think boat designs arenít really time sensitive these all seemed like they came from yesterday.

I had done a few montages like this of storefronts, parts of buildings, and restaurant signs in Europe and had plans of continuing this type of drawing but I never really did many more. The fact that these were right out the window made it easy to keep doing.
