My Christmas card for 2022 is a drawing of my apartment building with the cars I’ve owned over the years parked in front. At the far right is a 1966 MGB, I bought it used and eventually replaced it with a used 1969 MGB. Next is a Sunbeam Alpine, the only car I’ve ever bought from a person rather than a dealer. The Alpine turned out to be a real mess and did not last very long. Next is a 1969 Fiat 124 Spider. I bought the Spider with 86,000 miles on it but it was a wonderful car until it eventually rusted out. My current car is a 2016 Mini Cooper convertible. I scoffed at Mini Coopers back in the 60’s but I love them now! |
