Anna Maria Island, Florida
Text Box: I used to use large watercolor pads when I concentrated on large intricate scenes. I’ve moved, in general, to smaller pads and more open drawings. I love the simplicity of this scene and the feelings it evokes. I drew it from the beach outside a cottage we had rented on Anna Maria Island in Florida. What we love about Anna Maria is the availability of rentals right on the beach. We tried a rental in the Keys one Spring. We had a fantastic house right on the water but, since it was the Keys, we had to drive for twenty minutes to get to a small beach.
